Mahoney's (21 hits) scored in six of its seven at-bats highlighted by a 5-run first, 6-run third and 5-run seventh. Jason Marenda (4 hits, 3 runs) wielded the big bat for Power with a pair of 3-run bombs. Mahoney's: Brad Dredge 3 hits and 5 runs, Sue Weller 3 hits and 4 runs, Jeff Ballou 3 hits. Power: Donavon Romrell 2 hits, Kyle 2 hits (double) and 3 runs, Frank Shields 2 hits (double).

Sawtooth Paint/McClain's 35, Peterson/Tidwell 13 (5 innings)

Jeff Schroeder (5 hits, double, 3-run HR, 5 runs) was smack dab in the middle of the 30-hit Sawtooth attack that also featured Sarah Benson (4 hits, 5 runs), Jeff Burrell (4 hits, 2 doubles, 4 runs), M.J. Musselman (3 hits, double, 5 runs), Bryan Burrell (5 hits, double, 4 runs), Bonnie Burrell (2 hits, 4 runs) and John Rathfon (4 hits, double, 4 runs). Peterson/Tidwell: Tracy Peterson 2-run single, Lacey Peterson 2 hits.

LDE Elec/Little Wood 20, Peterson/Tidwell 7

Winless Peterson/Tidwell hung tight with unbeaten Little Wood through five innings, trailing only 8-3. But the Little Wood bats came alive in the sixth for 12 runs including a bases-loaded RBI walk by Wendy Hosman (3 hits, 2 runs) and 2-run double by Sean Harrington. Little Wood: Greg Edwards 2 hits (2-run HR) and 3 runs, T.J. Peterson 3 hits and 2 runs. Peterson/Tidwell: Tracy Peterson 2 hits (2-run HR) and 2 runs, Patrick Peterson 3 hits, Randy Lundergreen 3 hits (triple) and 2 runs.

Wise Guy Pizza/Nitro Green 20, Power Engineers 5 (5 innings)

Leadoff hitter Milton Brooks (5 hits, 4 runs) set the table for Wise Guy, who sent 14 batters to the plate in their 9-run first. Cam Garrison (3 hits, 3 runs) cracked a 3-run HR in Wise Guy's 4-run third for a 14-0 lead, and Justin Herald belted a pair of solo HRs. Wise Guy: Kenny Nelson 3 hits (double) and 3 runs, Tami Brooks and Tonya Brooks 2 runs apiece, Ryan Stavros 2-run single. Power: Frank Shields 2 hits (RBI triple).
