Glenn Miller Orchestra Swings Into Sun Valley

Courtesy photo In “Glenn Miller & His Orchestra,” author George Simon wrote that Miller’s favorite quotation was from Duke Ellington: “It don’t mean a thing if it ain’t got that swing.” Bringing the swing to the Sun Valley Pavilion, the Glenn Miller Orchestra will play on Tuesday, July 20. Gates will open at 7 p.m. and show time is 8 p.m. Tickets are $38, $28 and $18 for Sun Valley Pavilion seating and $12 for lawn seating. Tickets can be purchased at (888) 622-2108 or seats.sunvalley.com. The Glenn Miller Orchestra is a popular and sought-after big band for concert and swing-dance engagements. The present Glenn Miller Orchestra was formed in 1956 and has since been playing an average of 300 live dates a year all around the world.
