The Road Apple Roulette will make its fourth appearance at the Fourth of July Parade in Hailey on Sunday, July 4. Road Apple Roulette works by a horse dropping a "road apple" on a square along the parade route; the name of the person who bought that square goes into a drum for a prize drawing at the end of the parade.

There are 10,000 squares up for grabs, priced at $5 each. Tickets can be obtained from Hailey Rotary Club members, various businesses around town or online at www.roadappleroulette.org/tickets. The funds collected go toward a variety of local events, causes and charities that the Rotary supports.

"This event helps fund local activities, most geared toward kids," said Hailey Rotary Club President Greg Cappel.

The local business community donated many prizes, including a 42-inch flat-screen TV, numerous gift certificates and a one-week stay in Maui. Buying more than one ticket is encouraged.
