The Sun Valley Summer Ice Shows will sparkle this year with an exciting lineup of Olympic figure skaters fresh from Vancouver. The shows take place in the Sun Valley Outdoor Ice Rink every Saturday through Labor Day, and this summer Sun Valley will feature a gourmet dinner buffet on the outdoor Lodge Terrace or bleacher seating close to the ice.
On Saturday, July 3, Rachael Flatt, 2010 U.S. gold medalist and two-time U.S. silver medalist, will take the ice at dusk. Nathan Chen, 2010 U.S. gold medalist will also skate on Saturday. Additional summer skaters include Jozef Sabovcik, Olympic bronze medalist and two-time European champion, and Kimberly Navarro and Brent Bommentre, two-time U.S. bronze medalists.
In addition, skaters Dan Hollander, two-time U.S. bronze medalist and American open professional champion; Craig Heath, two-time American open silver medalist and world professional bronze medalist; Darlin Baker, U.S. open bronze medalist; and Ashley Clark, U.S. national team member, will also take to the ice with ensemble skaters Ty Cockrum, Joel Dear, Winter Rose, Lacy Marsh, Natalia Irvine, Ashely Wyatt and Clare King.
