RECENT RESULTS

KECH 13, Firefighters 12 (9 innings)

Wednesday's Game of the Night featured 25 runs and 46 hits and a whole lot of back-and-forth before the final resolution. KECH tallied 7 runs in the sixth erasing an 8-5 deficit and pulling ahead 12-8. Then the Firefighters tied it up 12-12 with a 4-run, 5-hit seventh highlighted by RBI doubles off the bats of Ryan Metzger (3 hits, 2 runs) and Matt Jaksetic (3 hits). In the ninth, KECH closed it out with three straight leadoff singles by Sean Harrington (4-for-5, cycle, HR, 4 runs, 5 RBI), Leah O'Flynn and Scotty Carlson (3 hits). Trey Knox lifted a one-out outfield ball that scored Harrington with the game winner. KECH (24 hits): Dan Maloney 3 hits (2 doubles, triple), Jamie Rivetto 2 hits and 2 runs, Annie Byerly 3 hits and 2 runs. Firefighters (22 hits): Leadoff hitter Keith Potter (5-for-5, double, HR, 3 runs, 2 RBI), Stephanie Rowley 3 hits, Steve McCoy 2 hits (2-run HR) and Richard Williams 3 hits.

Casino 11, Principal Recruiting 9

It looked like a doubleheader sweep night for Principal when they scored 6 runs in the first—Tom Moreland (3 hits, 2 runs) ripping an RBI double and Kevin Garceau (double) adding an inside-the-park HR. But the Casino, behind 8-2, tied it up 8-8 with a 6-run fifth on big RBI doubles by Cody Lampl (3 hits, 2 runs) and Nic Nottingham (2 doubles, 2 runs). Then Casino put it away with the decisive 3 runs in the home sixth on hits by Matt Kendrick, Brenda Johnson, Wade Port (2 hits, 2 runs) and Brandon Roxin (2 hits). Principal: Rod Watson 2 hits and 3 runs. Casino: Gretchen Wagner 2 hits.

Casino 10, Firefighters 1

Casino (16 hits) cracked open a close 1-1 game with a 5-run, 6-hit fourth and added 3 insurance runs in the sixth. Casino: Jill Morse 3-for-3 (2 RBI), Gretchen Wagner 3 hits, Matt Kendrick double and 3 RBI, Craig Morse 2 hits and 2 runs. Firefighters (7 hits): Matt Jaksetic 2 hits (HR) and Steve McCoy 2 hits.

Principal Recruiting 14, Elevate 3

Leading 4-2, Principal Recruiting blew the game open with a 10-hit, 10-run sixth sparked by an inside-the-park HR by Wendy Hosman and RBI doubles by Kevin Garceau (triple, 2 doubles, 3 runs), Geoff Gardner, Jamie Claiborn (2 hits, 2 runs) and Chad Pringle (2 runs). Principal: Kellee Havens 3 hits (triple), Jim Carlsen 3 hits (double), Rod Watson 3 hits (double) and Sharon Payne Bolton 2 hits. Elevate: Cooper Minnis 2 doubles and Cayt Vandenberger 2 hits.
