Poggi Elec/Red Dog 10, Hailey Hotel 4

The Red Dogs scored runs in each at-bat sparked by the hitting of Jeff Poggi (3 hits, 3 runs), Dani Stone (2 hits) and Anthony Rooney (3 hits, 2 triples). Hotel: Nic Thomas and Kellen Chatterton 2 hits apiece, Steven Vouch 2 doubles.

Wise Guy Pizza/Nitro Green 17, Peterson/Tidwell 4

Leadoff hitter Ryan Stavros (2 hits, 3 runs, 5 RBI) started Wise Guy cooking with a 3-run HR in the second for a 6-1 lead. After Peterson/Tidwell pushed across 3 unearned runs in the third trimming its deficit to 6-4, Wise Guy rallied for 6 more runs as Milton Brooks (4 runs), Stavros and Justin Herald (5-for-5, 2 doubles, triple, 3 runs, 4 RBI) all chipped in with run-scoring hits. Wise Guy: Brenda Blackwell 3 hits and 3 runs. Peterson/Tidwell: Sean Guisasola 2 runs, Patrick Peterson double.

Mahoney's Bar & Grill 21, Power Engineers 8

Seeking its first win, Power started on a roll with 5 runs in the first wrapped around a 3-run HR by Jason Marenda (3 hits, 2 runs). Unfortunately for the engineers, that's the last time they scored until Donavon Romrell and Marenda had RBI doubles in a 3-run seventh. Meanwhile, Mahoney's pounded away with 3 runs in the second, 4 in the third, 6 in the fifth and 8 in the sixth. Mahoney's: Brian Thompson 3 runs and 3 RBI, Tammi Dilworth 2 hits (double) and 3 runs, Nic Nottingham 4 hits (2 doubles, HR, 6 RBI) and Brad Dredge 3 hits (double).

LDE Elec/Little Wood 22, Hailey Hotel 7

Fresh off their Wyett Livingston/Stone tournament victory over the weekend, Little Wood Builders (21 hits) stayed red-hot—scoring in each frame highlighted by a 7-run sixth. Leadoff hitter Morgan Uhrig (2 doubles, 3 runs) set the table and Hoss Schmidt (4 hits, double, 2 runs) got the bottom half of the order in gear. Hotel: Kellen Chatterton 3 hits (2 HR, double, 5 RBI) and Katrina Kolman (4 hits, double, 2 runs).

Wise Guy Pizza/Nitro Green 15, Hailey Hotel 0

Wise Guy held Hotel to 6 hits and built an 11-0 lead after three innings with a pair of 5-run uprisings. Wise Guy: Ryan Stavros 3 hits (2 doubles) and 2 runs, Kenny Nelson 3 hits (2 doubles) and 2 runs, Cam Garrison 3 hits (HR) and 3 runs, Justin Herald 3 hits (HR) and 2 runs, April Peterson 2 hits.

Sawtooth Paint/McClain's 13, Peterson/Tidwell 4

Josh Jacobson (3 hits, 2 runs) provided the power with a solo HR and 2 doubles for Sawtooth Paint. Bryan Burrell set the table with 3 hits and 3 runs and Twyla Bulcher added 2 hits. Peterson/Tidwell: Lacey Peterson 2 hits, Sean Guisasola 2 runs, Tracy Peterson triple.

LDE Elec/Little Wood 26, Peterson/Tidwell 2

With Greg Edwards (4 hits, double, triple, 4 runs) leading the way from the middle of the batting order and Sean Harrington clouting a 3-run HR, Little Wood (24 hits) had its way with Peterson/Tidwell (6 hits). LDE: Buddy Peterson 3 hits (double, triple) and 3 runs, T.J. Peterson 4 hits (double, 3-run HR), Wendy Hosman (3 hits, 4 runs).

Poggi Elec/Red Dog 11, Power Engineers 5

Jamie Stone scored 3 runs from the #3 hole for Poggi and Mike Beall (3 hits) chipped in with a pair of RBI doubles.
