It’s time for CIEDRA

As the owner of an outfitting business in Ketchum, I am aware of the importance of protecting the natural beauty of our public lands while stimulating local economies.

Rep. Mike Simpson's bill, CIEDRA, presents an opportunity to secure this delicate balance. I have owned my business for 30 years. In those years, I have had the chance to explore the wildlands to the north of Ketchum. The Boulder-White Clouds deserve the greatest level of protection that the American public can afford.

Mike Simpson has given much time to the creation of this bill, and I believe it is the right solution to a problem that has persisted for more than 25 years. The collaborative effort that has gone into this bipartisan bill should be applauded and I support CIEDRA.
