Another car crash at Timmerman

4 injured in 2-vehicle accident at junction

Four people were injured Thursday morning in a two-vehicle accident at Timmerman Junction south of Bellevue.

Wood River Fire and Rescue Chief Bart Lassman reported that a 29-year-old woman with a possible broken pelvis, a broken left leg and "facial trauma" was transported by emergency helicopter to a Boise hospital.

Three other people, a 26-year-old woman, an 80-year-old man and a woman in her 70s were transported to St. Luke's Wood River Medical Center. The Ketchum Fire Department assisted Wood River Fire and Rescue in transporting the injured.

The accident occurred at about 9 a.m. It remained under investigation Thursday afternoon.

Additional information was not available from the Blaine County Sheriff's Office by press deadline Thursday.

The accident was the second injury accident at the intersection of state Highway 75 and U.S. Highway 20 this month. Four people were injured at the junction in a crash on June 8.
