Elgee burns midnight oil

Being a Blaine County resident for 25 years, the past seven in "Old Hailey," I wish to offer the following observation: Rain, hail or snow I walk my dogs from 10-12 p.m. nightly. On many, and I mean many, late-night walks, there is only one light on in the entire county complex. Judge Elgee is working at his desk, I assume preparing for his weekly trials. He is the only public official I have ever observed with that level of responsibility and dedication.

Regardless of decisions that I agree or don't agree with, he has my vote and deserves yours. Win or lose, Judge, thanks for your many years of thoughtful, hard work.
