Despo's burrito named best in Idaho

Ketchum Mexican restaurant Despo's has the best burrito in Idaho, according to California-based Sunset magazine. The magazine—focused on life in the West—bestowed the honor on Despo's all-veggie Richard Burrito.

"I try to save some for later, but it never makes it home alive," said Hailey resident Barbara Dembergh in the magazine.

Despo's was also named "most eco-friendly joint" because of its no-takeout-orders policy, which eliminates foam containers.

From salon operator to life coach

Connie Love, operator of a Ketchun nail-and-airbrush tanning salon for nine years, has opened a life-coaching practice. Love holds a life-coaching certificate from the University of Colorado.

"Almost every athlete has a coach to help achieve peak performance," she said. "A life coach helps the rest of us be all that we can be."

Love's website is lifecoachconnielove.com. She can be reached at 720-2216.

Get foreclosure prevention advice

Many distressed homeowners are facing foreclosure in the Wood River Valley. Some are also seeking loan modifications at the same time, wondering which event will prevail.

Hailey attorney Michael Kraynick recently completed the Idaho Foreclosure Prevention Clinic at the Boise State University Dispute Resolution Program to learn how to help his clients.

"I am already working with those in foreclosure or those whose homes have been sold and banks are trying to evict them," Kraynick said. "The loan modification program has been a dismal failure."
