Jefferson T. Creviston III

Jefferson T. Creviston III, 63, of Rosendale, Mo., formerly of Hailey, Idaho, died April 4, 2010, at his residence.

Jefferson was born Oct. 14, 1946, in St. Joseph, Mo., to Jefferson Thomas and Emily Louise (Wortman) Creviston. He married Jane Stone on June 6, 1970, who survives of the home.

He retired as captain of the Ketchum Police Department in 2001.

Jefferson was a member of the St. Rose of Lima Parish, Savannah.

Additional survivors are two sons, Jefferson Cortney Creviston and wife, Molly, of Lenexa, Kan., and Robert Wallace Creviston of Hailey, Idaho; a brother, Timothy Paul Creviston and wife, Terrie, of Rosendale, Mo.; and his father, Jefferson Thomas Creviston Jr. of Cameron, Mo., and mother, Emily Louise Creviston of Rosendale, Mo.

A memorial service will be held Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Parish. Interment will be at Mount Olivet Cemetery. The family suggests memorial gifts to the Leukemia Lymphoma Society.
