Federally-run health care bound to fail

In the March 26 issue of the Mountain Express, the front page's headline read, "Study blasts public defender system in Idaho." I challenge anyone who supports Obamacare to replace the words "public defender system" with the words "public healthcare system" and then re-read this article.

The Express article clearly outlines the gross inability and neglect of our government to uphold our basic rights outlined in the Fifth Amendment to the Constitution wherein we are guaranteed due process under the law. I challenge anyone to show that Obamacare will be administered more effectively than the government-subsidized preservation of our Fifth Amendment rights. Due process is protected with one amendment while Obamacare took over 2,000 pages to fabricate.

Study: "There's definitely a need to look at our entire system so that there is justice [healthcare] for all." The study also showed "serious lack of independence, case-load controls and training" and that attempts by the county (Bonneville) to "keep costs to an absolute minimum has effectively chilled the right to counsel." What an obvious indictment on government's inability to deliver upon the Fifth Amendment. Service under Obamacare will be worse.

Immediately after Obamacare was passed, liberals feigned "concern" over heightened tensions and "hate speech" from those of us who disagree with what they did. Disagreement is an understatement. If this letter is hate speech, I'll need to hire my own attorney from a private firm when I am mirandized to avoid "a low level of compensation for public defenders (doctors) [which] creates a disincentive for contract attorneys (doctors) to zealously advocate (provide healthcare) for the public clients to the same degree to which they advocate on behalf of their retained clients (nongovernment subsidized clients).

How's that hope and change workin' for ya?
