Spring skiing on Baldy is playtime and a great time of year for the valley's ski culture to get out and about. The second annual SolFest weekend will take place Friday, March 26, through Sunday, March 28.

SolFest will kick off on Friday with a welcome party at the Clarion Inn in Ketchum from 3-6 p.m. SolFest participants can obtain an All Access SolFest badge and sign up for the Poker run on Baldy at the Clarion. The Poker run will take place on Saturday at 10:30 a.m.

On Friday and Saturday evenings, Ketchum bars and restaurants will have club nights with specials on food and drinks from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m.

A poker run will involve visiting five designated Baldy locations to obtain a playing card at each. The player with the best hand wins. The poker run will start at 10:30 a.m. and end at 3:30 p.m. The poker run is free and additional signup will be available at Apple's Bar and Grill in Warm Springs at 10:30 a.m. A street party with live music by The Quick and Easy Boys will take place at Apple's at 3:30 p.m., where winners will be announced.

An All Access badge is $5, and available to anyone for pickup at either the Sun Valley-Ketchum Chamber & Visitors Center, 491 Sun Valley Rd. in Ketchum, or at the Clarion Inn, 600 N Main St. in Ketchum, on Friday, March 26. Look for hangover specials on Sunday, March 28, at Ketchum restaurants.
