On Saturday, March 6, my wife and I were enjoying a beautiful Sun Valley ski day with our friend at the Seattle Ridge area when my friend had a terrible accident. Another skier cell-phoned the Ski Patrol and they responded immediately with up to nine patrolmen. They stabilized my friend in minutes and had him at the bottom of Cold Springs Canyon and loaded into an ambulance on the way to be Life Flighted to Boise before we could ski down to the bottom of Baldy.
The Ski Patrol's compassionate and professional actions working as a team were exemplary. We are so thankful to have such an outstanding ski patrol team on Baldy.
Words cannot express our gratitude.
