Teddie Eldora Bell passed away on March 4, 2010, in Boise, Idaho, with her family by her side, from lung cancer. Formerly from Norwalk and Banning, Calif., she moved back to Boise to be with her family and live out her final days.
She was born Nov. 9, 1935, in Bellevue, Idaho. She spent her young years growing up in Hailey. She attended High School in Hailey.
She is survived by three daughters, Deloris Hotting of Apache Junction, Ariz., Linda Welke of Merrita Calif., and Alice Walton of Boise; five sisters and one brother, Martha Byington of Hailey, John Powers of San Bernadino, Calif., Bonnie Rice of Boise, Alice McKee of Boise, Sara Gooch of Tucson, Ariz., and Mary Baldwin of Caliente, Calif.; grandchildren, Heather and Jeremy Albright, Michael Hotting, Christy Welke, Melissa and Ian Welke, Robert Prutch and Damon Cicciu; and great-grandchildren, Jayden, Hailey, Emmarie, Chase, Dillon, Melanie and Abigale. She was preceded in death by her daughter Sherri Daurghty and her mom and dad, John and Rachel Powers.
She loved to garden, knit, crochet, do puzzles and spend time with her children and grandchildren, who were her life and greatest joy. She leaves a great void in our hearts because she was so loved. She will be deeply missed.
Funeral Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 25, at Wood River Chapel, 403 N. Main St. in Hailey. Urn interment will follow at the Bellevue Cemetery. The guest book and obituary are available at www.woodriverchapel.com.
