Due to lackluster ticket sales, the WinterSol Festival main stage music performances scheduled for East Avenue in Ketchum have been canceled. The Wailers with Steve Fulton Music, who were scheduled to play the East Avenue main stage tonight, will perform instead tonight, March 5, at the nexStage Theatre in Ketchum.

Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. and the show will start at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $27. Soul Asylum and Cracker will not play Saturday.

The rest of the WinterSol Festival will continue as planned with the addition of a block party on First Street between Main Street and Leadville Avenue on Friday and Saturday from 8 p.m. to midnight.

DJ Lenny will play music from 10 p.m. to midnight after The Wailers show on Friday and DJ Gerry will play music from 8 p.m. to 12 a.m. on Saturday. Food concessions, a beer garden for ages 21 and over, a Red Bull bar and fire pits will be on site.

Swollen Members return to Ketchum to play Friday and Saturday night at the nexStage Theatre. The all-ages shows are $25 each night starting at 10 p.m. In addition, Passafire will play tonight at 10 p.m. and Beats Antique will perform on Saturday at 10 p.m. at the Roosevelt Grille in Ketchum. Both shows are for ages 21 and over and tickets for each show are $10.

Passafire will be a nice complement to The Wailers show, with its reggae-influenced sound. The band is based in Savannah, Ga., with several founders having attended Savannah College of Art and Design.

"We use reggae as an influence point and build off it for all the other influences we incorporate into the band," said Passafire drummer Will Kubley. "Passafire is all about old-school roots reggae and we mix in country, folk, electric soul, pop and all different kinds of sounds."

Additional band members are Ted Browne, Adam Willis and Nick Kubley. Passafire has been on a steady tour schedule for the last couple of years opening for larger bands such as 311 and John Brown's Body.
