Imagine spending a Sunday giving and receiving lots of love. It's possible and more at the Animal Shelter of the Wood River Valley's 25th annual Paw 'n' Pole benefit. Bring a dog or be a partner with one from the shelter at the Sun Valley Gun Club on Sunday, March 7, at 10 a.m.

Entry fees are $5 for children, $10 for adults and $20 for families. Costumes are optional but encouraged for prizes in Nordic and snowshoe races, which include dogs on leashes. In addition, dogs with tricks are encouraged to participate in a silly pet trick contest.

Entry fee includes one Atkinsons' chili lunch, one raffle entry donated by the Blaine County Recreation District, Tully's coffee, hot chocolate and one 25th anniversary Paw 'n' Pole hat while they last. All profits benefit the Animal Shelter of the Wood River Valley.

For details, call 788-4351.
