I have lived in this valley for a few years now, and I don't think I have ever seen such a heroic stand for not just animals but this community. I witnessed the most beautiful display of one of our elders standing up and giving a confused young man a piece of her mind.
As I pulled up to a parking spot in Ketchum to pick up some coffee, this young man was abusing his puppy, and this little angel stopped in her tracks and gave this boy (for lack of a better word) a lecture. This is what I love about this wonderful town. She stood up. She put her foot down, and gave me the honor (order) of making sure that it did not happen again. I love my town and I am proud to be a part of such wonderful people that truly care about all of us in this community. You are one of my elders, and I am darn proud of you. You go, girl.
