The Sun Valley Wellness Institute will bring nationally known energy intuitive, reiki master and teacher Marie Manuchehri, R. N. to the Wood River Valley for a presentation and weekend workshop. Manuchehri will give a presentation, "Tapping Into Your Energy Potential" at the nexStage Theatre on Friday, Feb. 19, from 7-8:30 p.m. Tickets are $20 and available at the Friesen Gallery, Chapter One Bookstore and at the door. It is recommended to buy tickets in advance.

The Friesen Gallery will host a reception for Manuchehri at the nexStage Theatre at 6 p.m. on Friday, which will include music by Wade and Lisa Port. Manuchehri will conduct a workshop, "Bridging Worlds: Connecting to the Other Side," at the Kentwood Lodge in Ketchum on Saturday, Feb. 20, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. with a break for lunch. The workshop is $175. To register for the workshop visit Friesen Gallery or Chapter One Bookstore. Details will be available at the Friday presentation.

"Everything comes back to energy medicine, chakras and the human body," Manuchehri said. "I think people know what they need, and they are the best healers."

Manuchehri claims to be clairvoyant, clairsentient and clairaudient, and claims to have full sight of the chakras and the human energy system surrounding the body. She will present information on intuitive insight and healing, and her workshop will include how to connect with spirit guides. She will also give psychic readings. In addition, she is a medium whose clients say she has an amazing ability to connect with those living on the other side.

Manuchehri started her career in healing as a registered nurse in 1992. For several years she worked at a Seattle-area hospital as an oncology nurse and was unaware of her abilities until fall 1998.

"Most people come to see me as a last ditch effort to healing," she said. "I am the one who gets down to the nitty gritty. I know how to move energy, and I do it all the time."

Manuchehri said the largest percentage of people she sees are not physically ill—they are stuck in life, and she will see people's blockage and address it as well as come up with alternative ways to handle the blockage.

Manuchehri has clients all over the world, a radio show and enjoys mentoring people to be more grounded. For details, visit energyintuitive.com.
