Two of the Wood River Valley's home-grown athletes, Morgan Arritola and Graham Watanabe, competed in this week's Olympic Games in Vancouver. Arritola, 23, placed 34th in the women's 10 km freestyle cross-country ski race on Monday. Arritola, who grew up in Fairfield, graduated from The Community School in Sun Valley and is a member of the Sun Valley Ski Team, finished in the middle of the pack in her first Olympics. Her time of 27 minutes and four seconds was just over two minutes behind that of gold medalist Charlotte Kalla of Sweden, who finished in 24 minutes and 58 seconds.
