Rasta Man Vibrations Are On The Way



The second annual Marley in the Mountains celebrations will take place Friday, Feb. 26, and Saturday, Feb. 27, in Ketchum. The weekend of music and presentations will include a free Marley media presentation by Roger Steffens on Friday, who returns from last year with more and exciting education about Bob Marley and the reggae experience. Live music on Saturday will include Carlos Jones & The P.L.U.S Band, 5-7 p.m., raffle drawings at 7 p.m. followed by $5 concert with Michael Rose from 7:30-10 p.m. in downtown Ketchum. Whiskey Jacques’ will feature a show at 10 p.m. for $10 with Ken Serious, Lions Den Soundz, African Abstract Sound System and DJ Vision. A raffle will benefit Sawtooth Avalanche Centers’ Education Programs with prizes ranging from river trips to skis. Tickets are $20. Raffle tickets can be purchased at several Ketchum businesses displaying posters for Marley in the Mountains. Need not be present to win. For details, call 720-5431 or visit marleyinthemountains.com.
