President refutes GOP

I saw your cartoon of the "State of the Union" and I, too, thought it was odd that Republican representatives didn't stand during the "State of the Union" applause moments.

Do you really want more of the failed policies of the past 10 years that benefited a few at your expense? Using the Internet, you have a responsibility to expose who is misleading you, our president or Republicans.

The president's "State of the Union" and the live televised visit he made to his opposition's lair, the Republican retreat, and the question-and-answer period expose who is misleading whom. These two events should be required viewing by all Americans and especially those supporting the Republican Party.

Why didn't the Republicans stand, even a few souls, for thoughtful, sound reforms of the policies that have clearly been proven to put our economy and your families' welfare at risk. For example, repealing Republican tax credits to companies who take jobs overseas. The Republicans sat stone faced. Do you really want your taxes going to fund more of your jobs going overseas?

Past support of Republican policies is the reason for your current hardships as these two extraordinary live events reveal. No hype. Live. Note how many times our president said "not true" and used facts to prove it irrefutably to Republican accusations and talking points. And still, after Republicans have been exposed spewing deceitful misinformation on live TV, their policy is still to use the same fraudulent talking points. Disgraceful. Time to impeach them out.
