Game on

Many ways to celebrate Super Bowl Sunday

The 2009-2010 NFL football season will draw to a close when the final game is played on Sunday, Feb. 5. Super Bowl Sunday will celebrate this year's best NFL teams in a match between the Indianapolis Colts and the New Orleans Saints in Miami. Besides watching the game at home, Super Bowl XLIV will be televised in a variety of locations around the valley.

Sun Valley Resort will have several locations to watch the game including The Boiler Room, Sun Valley Club, Duchin Lounge and the Sun Valley Inn Lobby Lounge. The Boiler Room doors will open up at 2:30 p.m. and a happy hour will take place 2:30-5 p.m. with drink specials, raffle prizes and door prizes. At the Sun Valley Club, lunch will be available from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and the bar will be open at 11 a.m. The Duchin Lounge will have happy hour from 4-6 p.m. The Sun Valley Inn Lobby Lounge will also have happy hour 4-6 p.m., with 25 percent off food and beverages.

Whiskey Jacques' in Ketchum will have a Super Party with $20 all-you-can-eat pizza, wings, salad, taco bar and Coors Light beer. Well drinks will be $1. Whiskey's will open at 3 p.m. In Bellevue, The Brickhouse will have a "Tailgate Party" at 3 p.m. with food specials.

Ladies can enjoy a plethora of sale opportunities around the valley at Sturtevants Mountain Outfitters, Pete Lane's, Formula Sports, Isabel's Needlepoint, Panache and North & Co. In addition, Zenergy Health Club & Spa will have $10 day passes and 10 percent off all spa treatments on Sunday only. Beer and wine specials will also be available with the game playing on the 60-inch Zenergy flat screen.

The game begins at 4:25 p.m. MST on CBS on and don't miss a performance by The Who at halftime.
