Town Series second week in the book

Wednesday GS on Cozy


Six of the 28 teams in the 19th annual Sun Valley Town Series are tied for first place with 0.00 totals after two weeks of the Wednesday dual modified giant slaloms on Baldy's Cozy run. The six leaders are:

Blog.SV.com (Annie Byerly, Katie Matteson, Madeleine Weisz and Ashley McQueen); Scott USA (Toby Arnett, Jeff Page, John Zuck and John Reagle); Ski Tek Trainwrecks (Phil Erlanger, Mark Masur, Brent Hansen and Chris Campbell);

Also, SVSEF (Erika Hogan, Sarah Mazzola, Ashley Brown and Nate Schwing); Tekasoreass's (Carlo Rixon, Matt Murphy, Christine Cordeau and Chris Key); and Wood River Masonry (Wes Powell, Chase Gouley, Cam Fraser and Jason Haase).

Top 15 racers in the best-of-two runs format Wednesday:

Robin Sarchett 24.53, Carlo Rixon 24.90, Wes Powell 25.62, Erika Hogan 25.91, Matt Murphy 26.01, John Campbell 26.55, John Lee 26.61, Steve Brown 26.69, Cam Minor 27.29, Jan Hegewald 27.33, Sarah Mazzola 27.39, Christine Cordeau 27.42, Kipp Nelson 27.44, Hank Minor 27.48 and Chase Gouley 27.50.

Billy Cook and Kevin Moss came closest to the rabbit time of 32.14. There were 102 racers Wednesday. Next week's race party is at The Cellar.
