Hockey

SUN VALLEY SUNS

The Suns go for their sixth consecutive win Friday at home against the East Coast Guttersnipes, headed up by triple threat Bobby Farrelly, a director/producer/goalie. Games start at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday at the Sun Valley Indoor Rink. Proceeds from the weekend series will be donated to the Sawtooth Pony Club and the Atkinson Park Penguins hockey program.

YOUTH HOCKEY ON TAP

Sun Valley Youth Hockey's Midget and Bantam teams will entertain opponents on the resort ice over the weekend. The Salmon Valley Bantams, comprised of local and Salmon skaters, are hosting Idaho Falls and Boise. The Midget Suns will skate against high school teams from Meridian and Idaho Falls. The SV PeeWees travel to Idaho Falls and the Mites are in Salmon.
