Senior Hockey League update

Here are Tuesday night's Senior Hockey League results:

Bobby Sloper scored twice including the game winner helping (3-3, 18 goals scored/23 goals against) reach the .500 mark with a 6-4 win over Grumpy's/SV Auto Club (2-4, 26/28).

Caleb Baukol, Craig Maxwell and Trevor Thomas also scored for the winners. Randy Flood (2 assists), John Kearney Jr. and Sloper chipped in assists. For Grumpy's, Rod Watson scored twice to go with singles by Harry Weekes and Frank Salvoni. Credited with Grumpy's assists were Charles Friedman, Kevin Bullock, Salvoni and Weekes. Others skating for Grumpy's were Woody Harrelson and Bobby Farrelly.

Yoga College (5-1, 26 goals scored/12 against) got goals from five players in its 5-1 triumph over Morgan's Fine Finishes (2-4, 20/27). Yoga scorers were Dave MacMillan, Don Saver (1 assist), Jon Duval (1 assist), Peter Whitehead (2 assists) and Zach Crist. Other assists went to Brad Dredge and Kris Webster.

Coming up: Because of the football Bowl games, next Monday night's games have been rescheduled for Sunday, Jan. 3. So here is the new schedule: Morgan's vs. Grumpy's at 7:40 p.m. and vs. Yoga College at 8:50 p.m. at Sun Valley Skating Center.
