Free skier Chris Tatsuno won a dream-come-true pass to some of the best ski resorts in the Canadian Rockies this winter.

His 90-second Youtube video was chosen from 100 entries in the Kootenay Rockies Ultimate Ski Bum contest.

As the winner, he will receive eight season passes at eight resorts on Canada's "Powder Highway," including Revelstoke, Red Mountain and Fernie Alpine Resort.

Known as the "TatsMan in the TatsVan," the 26 year-old Sun Valley native will trade in his old ski-bum mobile for the use of a complimentary Dodge Nitro this season. He will be spending nights at his choice of 22 hotels along the way.

"The real kicker is the 16 helicopter and cat-track skiing operations up there. I get a free day of skiing with each of them," he said.

Tatsuno rides for Backcountry.com, Poc, Trew Gear, Discrete and Blizzard-Tecnica skis and boots. His winning video can be seen at Powderhighway.com/skibum.

"I'm a professional ski bum now," Tatsuno said.
