To those of you who missed the Dec. 6 concert of the Wood River Community Orchestra, I would suggest that you missed a very exciting performance. The program included Mozart, Hayden, the theme from the Pink Panther, a little tango music and a wonderful assortment of old traditional symphonic arrangements of carols. The orchestra numbered 22 players including a bassoon, an oboe, a bass, two violas, two cellos, 10 violins and flutes. It was truly an exceptional performance, and we are indeed lucky to have Andy Lewis and his enthusiastic direction, which brings out the best in our wonderful local musicians.
Watch for information about the next performance in late spring.
