Architect Owen Scanlon and attorney Michael Pogue were both re-appointed this week to three-year terms on the Hailey Planning and Zoning Commission.

The appointments were made Monday, Dec. 14, by the Hailey City Council. Mayor Rick Davis thanked both commissioners for their service.

In addition, the Hailey Arts Commission welcomed Linda Packer, who will help the Arts Commission work toward bringing more public art to the city.

Peter Jurovich will join the Hailey Library Board, which has been very busy this year accommodating new clients, due in part to the recession.

Meanwhile, a temporary, ad-hoc Downtown Revitalization Committee was formed to develop an economic plan for the city's commercial zone. The committee members are Summer Bauer, Jon McGowan, Judy Foster, Andy Hawley, Stefanie Marvel, Kathy Grotto, Kathleen Turner and Susan McBryant.
