Walter Lorain Cherry Jr.

Walter Lorain Cherry Jr., formerly of Winnetka, Ill., passed away on Dec. 6, 2009, at the age of 67. Walter grew up in Winnetka, but eventually settled in Laughlin, Nev. Walter loved his desert and working in a casino dealing poker. Walter also loved the bright lights of Las Vegas.

Walter is preceded in death by his parents, Walter Lorain Cherry Sr. and Virginia Ballard Cherry, and by a brother, Samuel Mansfield Cherry. Walter is survived by a daughter, Mary Catherine Cherry; a brother, Peter Ballard Cherry; and a sister, Catherine Cherry Rousey. Walter was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
