Sun Valley is a good steward

Steve Wolper's guest opinion about River Run suggests that we look at developers. Surely, we can evaluate a company by its owners, its employees and its history.

Owners: In this year's Wagon Days parade, the packed street where we were standing gave its loudest applause to the Holding carriage.

Employees: We all live among employees of Sun Valley Co., and we all are aware of how motivated they are by the new management team. We have dealt with Sun Valley ski instructors, tuners, locker renters, equipment and season pass sellers, and restaurants. Professionals all. The fact that the new general manager's group stopped their bike ride up Baldy on a hot July day to see if we needed directions says it all.

History: We joined the crowd at the opening of the new gondola, fire pit and terrain park. Wow! We live near River Run parking. We are seniors and chose this location because it is an easy, all-season, level walk to Main Street and Atkinsons'. So, thank you Holding family for all you have done to make this such a unique community to live in. Thanks Sun Valley Co. employees for keeping this North America's premier ski resort. And thanks Holding family for your commitment to its future.
