More terrain to open on Baldy

Sun Valley Resort announced this week that it will open the Roundhouse Slope and Canyon runs on Bald Mountain today, Dec. 4.

And the terrain will expand even more on Saturday, Dec. 5, with the opening of Warm Springs Run from top to bottom.

Runs already open are: Upper College, Mid River Run, Lower River Run, 42nd Street, Roundhouse Lane, Kinderspielplatz, Lower Warm Springs, Lower Picabo's Street and Flying Squirrel.

Lifts open are River Run, Roundhouse Express Gondola, Christmas, Kinderspielplatz and Challenger at Warm Springs.

Reported snow depths are 33 inches at the summit, 30 inches at mid-mountain and 26 inches at the base. The season snow total is 49 inches.
