Letters to Santa Claus need a stamp

Valley post offices will not have drop-off boxes

By SABINA DANA PLASSE
Express Staff Writer

Send Santa Claus a letter at his new address.

The traditional Santa's mailbox in valley post offices will no longer be available. Letters to Santa Claus need to be stamped and addressed to P.O. Box 348, North Pole, ID 83313. Unstamped letters will be discarded.

For the past 18 years, Lisa Phillips had provided a Santa's mailbox in all of the valley's post offices. She collected letters addressed to Santa Claus from as many as 400 Wood River Valley children. Now, they must be mailed.

In addition, children can e-mail Santa Claus at mail4santa@cox.net. For details, call Phillips at 788-9475.
