The Winter Sports School in Park City, Utah, has announced that Ketchum residents Bergen Palmer and Austin Bourret have graduated with its Class of 2009. Palmer and Bourret attended the Winter Sports School in 2009 for their senior year. The graduation ceremony was Nov. 20 at the Prospector Conference Center, in Park City. Palmer and Bourret have both attended The Community School in Sun Valley and have competed in winter sports for the Sun Valley Ski Education Foundation.

The Winter Sports School is an independent high school offering college preparatory education for winter sport athletes from April to November.

Air Force Airman 1st Class Ross L. Campbell has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas. The airman completed an eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills. Campbell, brother of Dave Campbell of Hailey, earned distinction as an honor graduate. Campbell is a 2006 Community School graduate.
