Martin Wade Wheeler, 50, was reunited with his Heavenly Father on Nov. 24, 2009. He was born in Preston, Idaho, on Nov. 17, 1959. He married his eternal soul mate and best friend, Amber Harward, on June 7, 1997.
Wade was a valiant servant of our Heavenly Father and his fellow man. His good deeds were known by all who knew him. His heart was filled with love for everyone. Although Wade's life on earth has ended, his example and legacy live on.
Wade is survived by his sweetheart, Amber, of Grace, Idaho; parents, W. Claudette Nash and Norman Swainston, of Grace; his brothers, Ed of Grace and Paul (Melody) of Blackfoot and his sister, Jerri (Jeff) Lowe of Franklin; his six beautiful children, Jesseca Scanlon, Camilla (Cameron) Luff and Shaun, all of Boise, and Kaleb, Kodi and Emily of Grace; two grandchildren, Ian Scanlon and Mariem Luff; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and in-laws. He was preceded in death by his father, Jackie Jerald Wheeler.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Dec. 3, at noon at the Grace LDS Stake Center, 404 N. Main St. in Grace. There will be a viewing on Wednesday, Dec. 2, from 6-8 p.m. at the Grace LDS Stake Center, and a viewing starting at 10 a.m. on Thursday prior to the service. Interment will be in the Franklin Cemetery, Franklin, Idaho.
