Claude will be missed

As a longtime skier at Sun Valley—30 to 50 times a year for the past 10 years—I was shocked to read of the departure of Claude Guigion from Sun Valley Co.

Under Claude's direction (as well as that of his lovely wife), the improvement in food services at all locations in Sun Valley was noticeable. The years that the Ram was revitalized with the concept of a French bistro made it the finest fine dining establishment in the region—shut down by archaic and overly restrictive immigration practices. He was a pleasure to deal with on any and all occasions and will be sorely missed by many of us. I hope this is not the beginning of a "downhill" slide in the best ski area in North America.
