The eighth annual Zeitgeist Half Marathon in Boise on Saturday attracted more than 1,000 racers, including a pack of 14 strong from the Wood River Valley.
In all, 1,073 finished the 13.1-mile course—667 women and 406 men—including 14 from the Wood River Valley.
Race winners were both from Boise. Eric Foote, 42, claimed the men's title in 1:16.25. Kristin Savola, 36, was the fastest woman and 18th overall in 1:29.20.
Ketchum's Jeremy Skinner, 32, led the local charge with an 11th place finish in 1:25.34. Skinner averaged a pace of 6:32 per mile and was fourth in his age group out of 63 runners.
Sam Young, 33, (1:39.59) was 12th in his age group, the 64th man and 98th overall.
Jen Schwartz, 39, placed 7th in her age group and was the 21st woman in 1:42.14. With a time of 1:44.57, Julie Cord, 42, was 4th in her age class and 5th in the master's women division. Kelly Kelly, 45, won her age class and was the sixth-fastest master in 1:45.14.

Becca Schubert, 35, 2:19.04, 78th in age group, 361st woman. Nicole Kashino, 35, 2:29.29, 93rd in age group, 442nd woman. Amber Kirtley, 26, 2:35.56. 89th in age group, 489th woman.
The event was a fundraiser for the Polycystic Kidney Disease Foundation.
