Hall kept Scott USA in town

As a former mayor, I have heard all the negative comments against city government when they are trying to do the best for all citizens.

When Scott USA had outgrown their office space, they came to me to try to stay in Ketchum with a new building. Randy Hall worked with us to help keep Scott in Ketchum and provide workforce housing at the same time. The SWC Northwood Building was the result of a forward-looking city government. This would not have happened without the leadership of Mayor Hall.

Thanks to Mayor Hall and his team, Scott USA remained local, which saved local jobs, and led to 15 affordable housing units.

Having listened to all the candidates for mayor, it is clear to me that we need to move our community forward, not backwards.

As a citizen of Ketchum, I urge you to re-elect Mayor Hall on Nov. 3.
