District needs a lesson

From the many articles, letters and opinions printed in the Idaho Mountain Express recently it becomes evident that not all is right with School District No. 61.

Since the last school levy was passed 10 years ago, buildings and facilities have deteriorated, student programs have not kept pace with technology and funds need to be allocated for security? Not exactly a positive atmosphere for students to excel.

And now the community is being asked to provide more funding so it can be misused in the next 10 years? Perhaps fiscal responsibility and restraint should be a lesson School District No. 61 needs to learn.
