On a mild night, Homecoming royalty is crowned

Nobody could have guessed that Wood River High School's Homecoming 2009 celebration would be held on such a mild mid-October night in Hailey.

But the weather turned out great—and here are the winners of the royalty contest, Student Union Advisor Stephanie Spindler reported.

King and Queen: Juan Martinez and Steph Sloan.

Senior prince and princess: Mark Coyne and Izzy Taylor.

Junior prince and princess: Charlie Evans and Ashton Lupton.

Sophomore prince and princess: Michaela Rodriquez and Stone Sutton.

Freshman prince and princess: Tim Boyle and Nicole Pratt.

Also announced by Pete Kramer at Friday's football game were winners of the Silver Creek High School royalty:

Silver Creek king and queen: Henry Carson and Domanique Von Heuring.

Silver Creek prince and princess: Francisco Molina and Gabriella Nieves.
