A Ketchum woman has been charged with burglary, a felony, for allegedly stealing prescription drugs from a Ketchum residence in September.

Blaine County court records state that 27-year-old Barbara Ashley Whitesell is also charged with misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance.

Whitesell was arrested by Ketchum police on Oct. 7 following an investigation initiated on Sept. 25. She is currently free on $5,000 bond. Her first court appearance on the charges is scheduled for Oct. 26.

"The prescriptions were reported to be Vicodin and a morphine-type drug," Ketchum Police Chief Steve Harkins said.
