Pizza & Politics heads south

Political forum set tonight in Hailey

By EXPRESS STAFF

Ketchum and Sun Valley's political candidates have had a chance to speak their minds and talk to the public about the upcoming election. Now it's Hailey and Bellevue's turn.

This year's final Pizza and Politics forum will be held today, Oct. 14, at 6:30 p.m. in the Old Blaine County Courthouse.

In a bid for one Hailey City Council seat, incumbent Martha Burke will square off against challenger Anthony St. George. Don Keirn is running unopposed for his seat on the Hailey City Council.

In the Bellevue contest for three council seats, incumbents Brett Gelskey and Gene Ramsey face challenges from David Hattula and Tom Perry. Perry cannot attend due to a prior commitment.

The public is invited to meet the candidates, ask them questions and partake of pizza.

The Idaho Mountain Express will again sponsor and moderate the forum.

Video of the forum will be posted on the Express Web site, www.mtexpress.com. The video project is sponsored by Western States Geothermal.
