In addition, the garden has hired Keith Pangborn to serve as interim executive director. Pangborn has been a full-time Wood River Valley resident since 1993 and has been involved with the garden since 2001.

Pangborn has been involved in environmental issues including the Boulder-White Clouds wilderness campaign and with the Snake River Alliance. He is an avid gardener and outdoor enthusiast.
