Bradshaws are inspiring

It seems that quite often our media and publications focus on the negative energy surrounding issues of the day. Very rarely do we find uplifting stories and evidence that there is an incredible amount of happiness and celebration to focus on in our daily life. I submit to you this good news.

Buzz and Myrle Bradshaw have been blessed with 75 years of marriage this week. When contemplating how they would like to acknowledge this occasion, they turned to the covenant and the institution of marriage, simply choosing to host coffee hour at St. Thomas Episcopal Church. Recently, they did just that, surrounded by their friends and family from St. Thomas Church.

They will be forever grateful for the outpouring of love and support they have received from those who have touched their lives through their unwavering faith and friendship of those in the community. For those who know Buzz and Myrle, there is no denying the simple fact they are truly a couple to be respected and admired. Their 75 years of marriage is a testament to their faith, love and respect for one another.

At a time when our headlines can be filled with despair and hopelessness, allow us all to pause for a brief moment and be inspired and happy, and celebrate with Buzz and Myrle for their 75 years together. Congratulations .
