A jury trial has been set for Dec. 15 for a man accused of stabbing an acquaintance in June at the Ketchum Korral cabins, south of downtown Ketchum.
The trial before Judge Robert Elgee is expected to last four days. Thirty-three-year-old David Rojas-Peralta pleaded not guilty to a felony charge of aggravated battery at arraignment Monday in Blaine County 5th District Court.

Rojas-Peralta is accused of stabbing Roger Mansecidor Rubin, 36, on the morning of June 22 at Rojas-Peralta's residence at Korral cabin No. 37. According to a Ketchum police report, Rojas-Peralta allegedly slashed Rubin once on the right cheek and stabbed him twice in the back. The police report states that the men got into an altercation because Rubin was sleeping in Rojas-Peralta's bed.
Rojas-Peralta remains incarcerated in the Blaine County jail on $100,000 bond. According to court records, Rojas-Peralta, a Peruvian native, is also suspected of being an illegal immigrant.
