The regular-season champion Coors Light Cyclones and #3-seeded Yaquis de Obregon have moved into the Oct. 10-11 "World Series" of the 2009 Wise Guy Pizza Sun Valley Men's Adult Baseball League.

Coors Light (10-3) won its two playoff games Sunday at Hailey's Founders Field—18-2 over the #2-seeded Waxroom Snappers (7-5-1) and 11-5 over Yaquis de Obregon (2-11).

Winning pitcher Tom Moreland (7 IP, 7K, 5 hits) of the Cyclones beat the Snappers 18-2 Sunday. Coors Light broke it open with an eight-run second. Top Cyclones hitters included T.J. Peterson (2 hits, triple, 3 runs), Justin Herald (2 hits, 2 runs), Anthony Anderson (2 hits), Ryan Stavros (3 runs) and Bryan Burrell (4 runs).

Meanwhile, Yaquis de Obregon ripped 23 hits in a 22-13 upset over Waxroom Snappers. Bryan Bray knocked out four hits and Jimmy Jorgensen got the pitching victory. Josh Jacobson added two hits.

In the other Sunday game, the Cyclones enjoyed another big inning at the plate—a six-run seventh—and won 11-5 over the Yaquis. The winning pitcher was John Rathfon, but the big news was fleet Anthony Anderson stealing home.

Brian Nelson (3 hits, double), Bryan Burrell (3 hits) and Anderson (2 doubles, 3 runs) paced a 15-hit Cyclones attack.
