Idaho people are kind

While we were on vacation from California this July, our camper had a flat tire near Stanley. We got 20 miles on our spare and had a blowout. With my family on the side of the road, a gentleman named Scott Williams, who owns Williams Motor Sports, did a U-turn, took us to Smiley Creek Lodge where the owner gave us a used tire, went to Scott's house where he put the tire on the rim, and helped put it on my truck. He was reluctant to take money. I had to practically stuff $20 in his pocket. We drove back to Smiley Creek and enjoyed a great lunch.

We are forever grateful to the kind people who helped us that day. We will be back in the future. Only wish that people in California were half as nice!
