Hats off to Wagon Days

I love Wagon Days. It has the contagious enthusiasm Ketchum is known for. I have always particularly loved watching the giant ore wagons get hitched up with the 20-mule jerkline. With the shout of the driver, "Hey mules!," to see this enormous combination of wooden wagons, mules and a couple of men get into motion just sends chills down my spine.

Hats off to Ketchum and to Bobby Tanner, mule driver extraordinaire. He's famous in my book.
