Carey holds Sept. 26 fun run for “To the Max”

Foothill 5-kilometer event

Carey High School's "To the Max" vocal group will receive all proceeds from the Foothill 5-kilometer (3.1-mile) Fun Run and Walk on Saturday, Sept. 26 at 8:30 a.m.

The event will start on Carey's Main Street and go west on Little Wood River Reservoir Road and onto Foothill Road. Signs will be posted.

Mail-in entries should be postmarked by Saturday, Sept. 19. Cost is $12 per person for the 5k run or walk (T-shirt included) or $6 for the "Kid Scurry" (for 12-and-under, medals awarded to all runners).

Refreshments (homemade cinnamon rolls, fruit, water bottles) will be served to all participants.
