Wood River Arts Alliance to hold fall Arts Summit

The Wood River Arts Alliance will hold a fall Arts Summit on Thursday, Sept. 24, from 8:30 a.m. to noon at the Community Library in Ketchum. The meeting will discuss "A New Era of Collaboration: Partnerships Using Imagination, Creativity and Planning."

The summit is co-sponsored by the Wood River Arts Alliance, the Sun Valley Center for the Arts, the Sun Valley-Ketchum Chamber & Visitors Bureau, the Community Library, the Hailey Arts Commission and the Idaho Commission on the Arts. The moderator will be Idaho Rep. Wendy Jaquet, D-Ketchum. The event is free for members of the Wood River Arts Alliance and $5 for non-members. A continental breakfast will be served.

Magic Valley Arts Council seeks submissions

Area visual artists interested in exhibiting their new work for the Magic Valley Arts Council 2010 exhibition schedule are encouraged to apply to the council. Applications for exhibition for any medium are available at the council offices at 132 Main Ave. S. in Twin Falls or online at magicvalleyartscouncil.org/visual.htm.
